It’s been four years since Robert Pattinson donned the cape and cowl for the first time for “The Batman,” and a lot has changed since. According to the actor, who’s currently filming the sequel in London, things are taking a toll on him this time.

The actor opened up to GQ, as part of his role as Jaeger-LeCoultre's global ambassador, about filming “The Batman 2,” admitting the physical demands of the role have caught up with him.

"I'm definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot," Pattinson said. "This is significantly harder than it used to be." Despite this, Pattinson described the shoot as “really fun," adding, “I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon.”

Pattinson also addressed some leaked photos showing someone riding a motorcycle through the snow. When asked if it was him, he confirmed he was the one performing as Batman’s alter ego known as “the Drifter.”

“The Batman 2” follows 2022's “The Batman,” director Matt Reeves' noir-tinged reboot that became one of the biggest box office success stories of the pandemic era.

Pattinson's comments come amid what he described as an unusually packed year, with “The Drama,” “The Odyssey,” “Primetime,” and “Dune: Part Three” all reaching audiences in 2026. No release date for “The Batman” sequel has been announced.
