Jodie Sweetin recently reunited with several of her "Full House" costars, and one person's absence was impossible to ignore. Nearly four years after Bob Saget's death, she says his presence still lingers in unexpected ways.

Some absences don't get smaller with time. They just get quieter.

That's what Jodie Sweetin says has happened to the "Full House" group chat since Bob Saget died on January 9, 2022, at age 65, after being found unresponsive in an Orlando hotel room.

The actress, who played Stephanie Tanner, Saget's onscreen middle daughter, recently reunited with her costars, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, and Scott Menville, and said Saget was in their thoughts.

"The Full House group chat is very quiet now that Bob's gone," Sweetin told SheKnows. "He was always one of the first to say happy birthday, or the first to start planning something."

This was also the sentiment she shared when she attended a charity event marking “Full House’s” 35th anniversary. She told Fox News Digital that Saget’s gift was making people feel like they belonged. "Bob was just always so good at including everyone and making everyone feel warm… welcomed and loved… he's greatly missed for that."

While Saget is no longer around, for Sweetin and her castmates, his memory lives on, and he is forever missed.

"Every time we get together, there's always a moment when we're like, 'Bob should be here,'" she said. "It does break your heart when you get everybody together and there's one person missing."

Sweetin doesn't wallow in that sadness for long. "I just love the fact that we constantly talk about Bob, and I'm sure he would love that too because he loved the attention," she said.
