Lori Loughlin is back on Instagram, and she made the announcement with the help of some old friends.

The actress made her social media comeback on Monday, August 31, seven years after deleting her account due to her implication in the 2019 college admissions scandal.

Loughlin’s “Full House” costars John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, and Andrea Barber joined her on the announcement clip, recreating Becky Donaldson's return to the show's fictional "Wake Up, San Francisco" after maternity leave, with Loughlin lip-syncing the original dialogue.

The clip also included the late Bob Saget’s original introduction from the show before cutting back to Loughlin. "Wake up, San Francisco! I'm back on IG," she captioned the post.

On March 12, 2019, Loughlin deleted her Instagram account after news broke that she and her now-estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were involved in the college admissions scandal.

The couple was accused of paying $500,000 for the false admission of their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose Giannulli, to the University of Southern California as crew team recruits. They pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud in May 2020.
